Paul Childerley has spent his entire working life in the British countryside, building a career rooted in real, hands-on experience. From gamekeeping through to estate management and content creation, his work spans field sports, land stewardship, and countryside innovation.

Through Childerley Sporting, Paul has developed many different aspects of rural sports, turning them from recreational hobbies into profitable businesses. His knowledge of driven game, deer management, estate management and game and venison processing makes him a leader in the field.

Paul Childerley has spent his entire working life in the British countryside, building a career rooted in real, hands-on experience. From an early background in gamekeeping, he developed a deep understanding of land management, wildlife behaviour, and what it takes to run and maintain successful Estates. Over the years, that foundation has grown into a broader role as a countryside professional, estate manager, and trusted sporting agent.

Land Management

Estate management is a day-to-day job, creating habitat for gamebirds and looking for the next new drive for the coming season. Woodland management is essential to help biodiversity amidst gamekeeping, as well as creating and maintaining ponds and waterways yearly. Deer management plays a key role, with different deer species' seasons overlapping, meaning there is always culling taking place.

Alongside his work in the field, Paul has become a recognised voice within the fieldsports community through documenting real-life experiences on a daily basis and sharing them across his social media platforms and YouTube channel. He gives insight into this otherwise little-known lifestyle and shows the many benefits his work can offer the countryside.

Paul is now running his own media business at Childerley Sporting, where he helps promote, teach and provide a voice of understanding and authority in the fieldsports community.
