Heading to the tundra North Lapland above the Arctic circle chasing Ptarmigan as they were on the change of colour from the beautiful chestnut Brown to White ready for the snow. We had To Be prepared for bad weather and take enough amenities to last a week. We were helicoptered out and dropped in the middle of nowhere. We walked the Open tundra with a dog working for us throughout the day. This is a once in a lifetime magical experience which I would cherish forever. After managing to get eight Birds, we headed back to The cabin to cook them up for dinner as a well earned reward.
